AML & KYC Policy

Last updated: 13 September 2026 · Aurevia Wealth

Aurevia Wealth applies anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing, and sanctions controls to every client relationship. We will not open an account or complete a purchase, sale, storage, or delivery until identity and, where required, source of funds are verified to our satisfaction.

Know Your Customer

Individuals must provide a government photo ID, proof of residential address, and date of birth. Companies must provide formation documents, beneficial ownership, and authorised signatories. We may use electronic verification and ask for certified copies. We may repeat checks during the relationship, including after a change of control or a large transaction.

Source of funds and wealth

We may ask how you acquired the money used to buy bullion (for example salary, business proceeds, sale of property, or inheritance) and for supporting documents. Third-party payments are not accepted unless we have completed enhanced due diligence and agreed in writing.

Sanctions and high-risk activity

We screen clients and related parties against sanctions and watchlists. We do not deal with persons or entities that are sanctioned, or where the transaction would breach export, customs, or financial-crime law. We may decline or exit a relationship that presents unacceptable risk, including unusual transaction patterns or reluctance to provide information.

Monitoring and reporting

We monitor accounts and transactions. We may freeze activity, delay settlement, or refuse delivery while we review a case. Where the law requires, we file reports with the competent financial-intelligence unit and will not “tip off” a client that a report has been made.

Record keeping

Identification and transaction records are retained for at least five years after the relationship ends, or longer if required by law or a competent authority.

Your cooperation

Providing false documents or using the platform to hide the origin of funds is a criminal offence. If we cannot complete KYC, we will not proceed with the transaction and may return funds to the originating account where legally permitted.
